Focused on simplifying access to healthcare regardless of your zip code, I support organizations in their development and implementation of telehealth-related programs and services. While actually a tool in the delivery and support of patient care, telehealth still requires a concentrated effort during the initial deployment as well as the continuing organizational integration. Without that focused attention, both on internal interests and possible external challenges (i.e. federal/state policy changes), the overall development will likely struggle. Helping people visualize how they might use telehealth is key to a successful program. That includes developing an understanding of what they really need and figuring out if and how telehealth can help meet that need. This involves cultivating long-term relationships and striving to understand the goals they have for their organization. Unraveling that knot is a rewarding component of what I do.
