Art Contest
Don’t miss the chance to showcase your creativity at SDAHO’s 2nd Annual Art Contest. The theme for this year’s event is “Seasons of Life”. Art entries will represent the different stages of life through seasonal imagery. If your facility is selected, you could have the opportunity to win a $2,500 prize towards enriching your facility’s activity program.
Awards
SDAHO will host our first annual Post-Acute Partners in Care Conference award celebration. Awards will be presented to 4 individuals and 1 facility during an awards ceremony. SDAHO is asking that our members nominate those individual(s) and/or facility they feel deserve to be recognized. Members of the SDAHO Post-Acute Council will select each award recipient from the list of nominees in each category.
The deadline to submit award nominations has been extended to February 5, 2025.
The five awards include:
- Clinical Excellence Award
- Frontline Caregiver of the Year
- Leadership Excellence Award
- Outstanding Facility of the Year
- Caregiver Lifetime Achievement Award

Del Gilbert
Del Gilbert is the founder of Accelerating Excellence. He equips people and organizations to thrive in the marketplace and beyond. Del has held numerous leadership positions, including Director of Organizational Excellence and Chief Learning Officer at St. Joseph Hospital in New Hampshire. Del hosts a popular podcast, “Accelerating Excellence with Del Gilbert and is the author of “The 7 Senses of Employee Engagement: How to Be the Best Boss Your Employees Ever Had.”
Rev. Dr. Greg Wilcox
Rev. Wilcox served five years as a parish pastor in Northern Minnesota, followed by 32 years with The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society—first as Director of Spiritual Ministry and then as V.P. for Mission Integration. After retiring from Good Samaritan he has served with the E.L.C.A. as an interim parish pastor in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls and went on to get his Masters of Divinity and his Doctor of Ministry from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN.
