In this session, we’ll talk about real-world strategies leaders can use to build a reliable workforce pipeline, reduce turnover, and keep teams engaged. Presenter: Lindsay Stroman, CWDP, Workforce Development Coordinator, South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations

Lindsay Stroman, is the Workforce Development Coordinator at the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) and serves as the Network Director for a four‑year, $1.15 million HRSA Rural Health Network Development grant, through which she established and now leads the South Dakota Rural Workforce Network (SDRWN). Lindsay helps rural hospitals strengthen their teams and build reliable workforce pipelines through practical, sustainable strategies. Growing up in a small South Dakota community, she is deeply passionate about rural healthcare and creating real‑world solutions that help hospitals attract, retain, and empower staff. She is the only Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) in South Dakota and is advancing her expertise by earning her Certified Workforce Development Leader (CWDL) designation, completing her MBA this May, and earning a Leadership Certificate from the J.W. Fanning Institute at the University of Georgia.
