The Role of Buprenorphine in the Clinical Setting-Latest research on buprenorphine use

In this session, we will once again reinforce essential principles in providing MOUD and chronic pain care as well as explore current research on buprenorphine use in other health conditions. We will also review new medications on the market for treating opioid dependence and/or chronic pain.   Objectives: Reinforce one or two of the basic principles essential in prescribing buprenorphine for MOUD and/or chronic pain. Be familiar with other uses of Buprenorphine being considered beyond MOUD or chronic pain. Review new medications on the market for substance use disorders and/or chronic pain beyond MOUD drugs.
